Rehabilitation Options. The City attempts to provide employees the opportunity to deal with drug and alcohol related problems. Any employee who voluntarily requests assistance in dealing with a drug and/or alcohol problem is encouraged to seek professional counseling for an assessment with a licensed or certified alcohol and drug professional. Professional counseling and treatment programs for drug and/or alcohol problems may be available through City provided health insurance or the City’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Any cost not covered by the health insurance or the EAP is the employee’s responsibility.
