Reinstatement From Military Reserve or National Guard Duty. (a) Initial Enlistment With At Least Three Consecutive Months of Active Duty: An employee who is a member of the Reserve or National Guard component of the Armed Forces of the United States and is ordered to an initial period of active duty for training of not less than three consecutive months shall make application for re-employment within 31 days after: (i) the employee' s release from active duty from training after satisfactory service, or (ii) the employee' s discharge from hospitalization incident to active duty for training or one year after the employee' s scheduled release from training, whichever is earlier.
