Common use of Reinstatement of UK Guaranty Clause in Contracts

Reinstatement of UK Guaranty. If any payment by a UK Guarantor or any discharge given by the Agent (whether in respect of the UK Guaranteed Obligations or any security for the UK Guaranteed Obligations or otherwise) is avoided or reduced as a result of insolvency or any similar event (a) the liability of that UK Guarantor shall continue as if the payment, discharge, avoidance or reduction had not occurred; and (b) the Agent shall be entitled to recover the value or amount of that security or payment from the UK Guarantor, as if the payment, discharge, avoidance or reduction had not occurred.
