Common use of REJECTION OF REGISTRANTS Clause in Contracts

REJECTION OF REGISTRANTS. The Employer may reject any Employee or registrant for employment dispatched by an Employment Office of the Union, provided, however, that any such employee or registrant reporting for work at the agreed time and designated place and rejected by the Employer, shall be entitled to show-up time in the amount provided in Section 5(H) of this Agreement. A registrant rejected for one of the following reasons shall not be entitled to receive show-up time. (1) Reporting for work in an unfit condition. (2) Discharge for cause by the Employer within the twelve (12) months next preceding his reporting time. (3) Failure to report at the time and place set forth on his dispatch slip. (4) Failure to have the experience specified in the Employer's request and/or the proper license required to operate the equipment for which the applicant has been ordered.
