Common use of Relationship of Lender and Borrower Clause in Contracts

Relationship of Lender and Borrower. Lender and Borrower intend that the relationship between them shall be solely that of creditor and debtor. Nothing contained in this Agreement or in the other Loan Documents, nor the consummation of the transactions contemplated herein or therein, shall be deemed or construed to create a partnership, tenancy-in-common, joint tenancy, joint venture, or co-ownership by or between Lender and Borrower, or to create a relationship between Lender and Borrower other than that of creditor and debtor, or to cause Lender to be liable or responsible in any way for the actions, liabilities, debts, or obligations of Borrower.
