Common use of Release On-Site Clause in Contracts

Release On-Site. ‌ Seller shall immediately notify Buyer and applicable Governmental Authorities of any Release by Seller or any Subcontractor of Regulated Materials at the Site which is reportable to Governmental Authorities under applicable Environmental Laws and take such emergency measures as are prudent and necessary to protect the environment consistent with the materials management and emergency response procedures referred to above and Applicable Law. Seller shall take all appropriate steps consistent with the materials management and emergency response procedures referred to above and Applicable Law for immediate containment of any such Release and Remediation of the affected area.
