Common use of Release Time for Chapter Business Clause in Contracts

Release Time for Chapter Business. Upon appropriate notice and schedule coordination with the immediate administrator, the present of CSEA Chapter #12, or designee shall be entitled to five (5) full eight (8) hour days per year of release time with no loss of pay or benefits for the purpose of conducting lawful Association business, to promote improved communication, provide information and site visitations. Such release time may be taken in any length segments. Release time shall be requested in writing and signed by the Chapter President (or designee) and the Superintendent (or designee). Upon request of the President, and agreed upon by the District, a substitute shall be employed in such absence.
