Common use of Reliance on Instructions Clause in Contracts

Reliance on Instructions. The Agent may consider an Instruction received by the Agent to be effective as the Instruction of the Funds, and the Agent may rely on the Instruction, if (a) the Instructions have been transmitted by an individual reasonably believed by the Agent to be authorized by the Funds to submit Instructions and (b) (i) the Agent complies with the Security Procedures for receiving and processing Instructions and (ii) has not detected any error, omission or irregularity with such Instruction which, if detected, would justify non-reliance thereon by the Agent.
