Relocation of Water Meter and Box. Relocation of existing water meter and boxes shall be paid for at the unit price of each water meter and box relocated and shall cover the cost of all materials, transportation, labor, equipment, excavation, sheeting and shoring, removal of existing water meter and box, installation at another location, adjustment to final grade, protection of existing utilities, chlorine for disinfection, disinfection, backfilling, backfill material, disposal of unsuitable backfill materials, tamping, testing, densities, utility crossings, dewatering, trench stabilization, clean-up, restoration, and all work and materials necessary to relocate the water meter and box except where such items are shown to be paid for under a separate Item. The new service line from the main to the relocated meter shall be paid for under a separate Pay Item.
