Remedy and rectification of Defects and deficiencies. 15.2.1 Without prejudice to the provisions of Clause 15.2.2, the Contractor shall repair or rectify all Defects and deficiencies observed by the Authority’s Engineer during the Defects Liability Period within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of notice issued by the Authority’s Engineer in this behalf, or within such reasonable period as may be determined by the Authority’s Engineer at the request of the Contractor, in accordance with Good Industry Practice. 15.2.2 During a period of 2 (two) months from the date of issuance of Completion Certificate, the Contractor shall retain sufficient staff and spares at Project for procuring prompt replacement, installation or re-installation of any defective parts of (a) the SCADA system; (b) traction sub-stations and switching posts and (c) EI system /Axle Counters/ Automatic Train protection system.
