Should the Member require medical advice or Assistance, he or his representative may telephone the Specialty Emergency Services Control Centre where Specialty Emergency Services medical personnel will advise the Member on the necessary action he or she should take, depending upon the circumstances as described to Specialty Emergency Services. 3.2.1 Such advice may include particulars of the nearest doctor or hospital for consultation or admission. 3.2.2 It should be noted that a telephone conversation may not permit accurate diagnosis and this service shall be considered as advisory only.
