Qualified Medical Child Support Order. A child who would otherwise meet the eligibility requirements and is required to be covered by a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO) is considered an eligible dependent.
Qualified Medical Child Support Order. Coverage is available for a dependent child not residing with a Subscriber and who resides outside the Service Area, if there is a qualified medical child support order requiring the Subscriber to provide dependent health coverage for a non-resident child. Coverage for Dependents, gained through a court order, including a child support order, will be effective the first day of the court order. If permitted by Xxxxx, the Qualified Individual may elect a later coverage effective date in accordance with the rules of Oscar.

Effective Date of Coverage The earliest Effective date for the annual open enrollment period is the first day of the following Benefit Period for a Qualified Individual who has made a QHP selection during the annual open enrollment period. A Subscriber’s actual Effective date is determined by the date he or she submits a complete application and the applicable Premium to the Exchange. Effective Dates for special enrollment periods:
Qualified Medical Child Support Order. A QMCSO creates or recognizes a right of a child who is recognized under the order as having the right to be enrolled under the health benefit plan to receive benefits for which the Employee is entitled under the plan; and includes the name and last known address of the Employee and each such child, a reasonable description of the type of coverage to be provided by the plan, the period for which coverage must be provided and each plan to which the order applies. Qualified Health Plan Under the Affordable Care Act, starting in 2014, an insurance plan that is certified by an Exchange, provides essential health benefits, follows established limits on cost-sharing (like deductibles, copayments, and out-of-pocket maximum amounts), and meets other requirements. A qualified health plan will have a certification by each Exchange in which it is sold. Referral Specific instructions from a Member’s Physician, in conformance with our policies and procedures, that direct a Member to an In-Network Provider for Medically Necessary care. Respite Care Care furnished during a period of time when the Member’s family or usual caretaker cannot, or will not, attend to the Member’s needs. A facility that provides limited basic medical care services to Members on a “walk-in” basis. These clinics normally operate in major pharmacies or retail stores. Medical services are typically provided by Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Semiprivate Room A Hospital room which contains two or more beds. The Plan Administrator has established procedures that are to be followed if the Plan receives a medical child support order that requires you to provide health care coverage for your child under the Plan. These procedures are set forth in Claims for Benefits to this summary.
Qualified Medical Child Support Order. The child becomes an "alternate recipient" and can receive benefits under the health plans of the Employer, if the order is determined to be "qualified." You may obtain, without charge, a copy of the procedures governing the determination of qualified medical child support orders from the Plan Administrator.
