The District is committed to taking steps to ensure the removal of any and all barriers to equal employment opportunities within the District, including in its Regulations and procedures. Major efforts will be aimed at the procedures for recruitment, hiring, training, assignment, retention, and promotion to ensure that these are inclusive of all protected groups. This work will align with the District’s affirmative action plan.
