Common use of Rent Covenant Clause in Contracts

Rent Covenant. The covenant to pay rent, whether Base or Additional, is hereby declared to be an independent covenant on the part of Tenant to be kept and performed, and no offset shall be permitted or allowed. Tenant's covenant to pay such rent shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease.
