Common use of Rent Tax Clause in Contracts

Rent Tax. If, during the term of this Lease or any renewal or extension thereof, any tax is imposed upon the privilege of renting or occupying the Demised Premises or upon the amount of rentals collected therefor, Tenant will pay each month, as additional rent, a sum equal to such tax or charge that is imposed for such month, but nothing herein shall be taken to require Tenant to pay any income, estate, inheritance or franchise tax imposed upon Landlord.

Rent Tax. If, during the term of this Lease or Term, including any renewal or extension thereof, any tax is imposed upon the privilege of renting or occupying the Demised Premises or upon the amount of rentals collected therefor, Tenant will pay each month, as additional rent, a sum equal to such tax or charge that is imposed for such month, but nothing herein shall be taken to require Tenant to pay any income, estate, inheritance or franchise tax imposed upon Landlord.
