Common use of Rental Abatement Insurance Clause in Contracts

Rental Abatement Insurance. The Landlord may elect to keep and maintain in full force and effect during the Lease Term, rental abatement insurance against abatement or loss of Rent in case of fire or other casualty, in an amount at least equal to the amount of the Rent payable by Tenant during the then current lease year as reasonably determined by Landlord. All premiums for such insurance shall be included in Operating Costs for the purposes of this Lease.
