Common use of Replacement of Existing Dentures Clause in Contracts

Replacement of Existing Dentures. Replacement of an existing denture will be a Covered Dental Expense only if the existing denture is unserviceable and cannot be made serviceable. Payment based on the applicable percentage will be made toward the cost of services which are necessary to render such appliances serviceable. Replacement of prosthodontic appliances will be a Covered Dental Expense only if at least five (5) years have elapsed since the date of the initial installation of that appliance under this Dental Expense Benefits Program, except as provided in Section III(C)(3) above.
