Reporting Definitions. The following definitions shall apply for purposes of this Section 6(i): A. Access Attempts. Information systems are the frequent target of probes, scans, “pings” and other activities which may or may not indicate threats, whose sources may be difficult or impossible to identify and whose motives are unknown, and which do not result in access or risk to any information system or Protected Health Information (“Access Attempts”).
