Reporting Potential Fraud, Waste, or Similar Misconduct. 14.1. Grantee shall promptly refer to Grantor, via their assigned Grant Monitor, and the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General (OIG) any credible evidence that a principal, employee, agent, contractor, sub-contractor, sub-grantee, or other person has, in connection with funds under this Agreement – (1) submitted a false claim that violates the False Claims Act; or (2) committed a criminal or civil violation of laws pertaining to fraud, conflict of interest, bribery, gratuity or similar misconduct.
