Required Training and Professional Development a. Contractor(s) and their service providers are required to attend PREA and ADA trainings and forward Certificates of Attendance to Contract Manager. Contractor required to review all policies provided by the State and sign as confirmation. Verification will be forwarded to the Contract Manager. Contractor will complete the mandatory trainings and orientation/onboarding information described in this paragraph within the first 3 to 6 months of the start of this contract.
b. Contractor will participate in training and professional development activities as defined by the Program Services Director and/or designee. Contractor may be reimbursed for participation in pre-approved or training mandated by the State, up to five (5) days equivalent to forty (40) hours Full Time Equivalent. If the training is mandated, the contractor will not be charged registration fees but will be liable to pay for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
c. Contractor is required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of in-person professional development training related to the clinical, criminal justice, intervention, social work, psychology, law, or other related field. Contractor will submit request for training approval to Contract Manager within 14 days of scheduled training. Contractor will receive written confirmation that training is appropriate and within these parameters. Contractor, Contract Manager, and RISC/RRC will coordinate coverage during training time. Contractor required submit attendance confirmation to Contract Manager within 5 days of training, or earlier if invoice for those hours is due.
