REQUIREMENT FOR RETURN TO WORK. In all cases, the employee shall notify the Superintendent or designee, in writing, of his/her intention to return to work at least thirty (30) days prior to the intended day of return. In the event that such written notice requirement causes undue hardship to the employee, such requirement may be waived by the Superintendent or designee. The notification of intention to return to work must be given as soon as possible in order to avoid the possibility of having two (2) employees hired for the same vacancy. Upon return to work, the employee must submit evidence from a qualified physician that he/she is capable of performing all of his/her duties.
