The following requirements apply to the Award, the accompanying Underlying Agreement, and any Amendments thereto signed by an authorized FTA official before December 26, 2014 as follows: (i) For a state, local government, or Indian tribal government, U.S. DOT regulations, “Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State and Local Governments,” former 49 CFR Part 18; (ii) For an institution of higher education or a nonprofit organization, U.S. DOT regulations, “Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Agreements with Institutions of Higher Education; Hospitals, and Other Non-Profit Organizations,” former 49 CFR Part 19; or (iii) For a private for-profit organization, U.S. DOT regulations, “Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Agreements with Institutions of Higher Education, Hospitals, and Other Non-profit Organizations,” former 49 CFR Part 19.
