Common use of Research-Urgent Benefits Clause in Contracts

Research-Urgent Benefits. Drugs, devices, medical treatments or procedures that are otherwise excluded as Experimental or Investigational but meet the criteria for Research-Urgent benefits as provided in the General Definitions section. No benefits shall be available under this section for any Research-Urgent drug, device, medical treatment or procedure (or related services) that are provided free of charge to trial participants or for any Research-Urgent drug, device, medical treatment or procedure that are excluded by another provision of this Contract.
