The Reservation Cancellations clause outlines the terms and conditions under which a party may cancel a reservation. It typically specifies the required notice period, any applicable fees, and the process for notifying the other party of the cancellation. This clause helps manage expectations and reduces disputes by clearly defining the consequences and procedures for canceling a reservation, thereby protecting both parties from uncertainty or financial loss.
Reservation Cancellations. A reservation may be cancelled for the following reasons:
(a) A request from the agency or person who originally made the reservation.
(b) A request from the agency or person authorized in the reservation.
(c) By the CARRIER when a duplicate reservation is detected; in other words, more than one reservation for the same person for the same flight numbers.
(d) By the CARRIER when the time limit to purchase the ticket has expired and it has not been purchased, or when the Passenger does not comply with the fare terms and conditions.
(e) By failure of the Passenger to show for one of the booked segments (a “No Show”).

Reservation Cancellations. Any cancellation request of a Summer housing assignment must be submitted to GW CLRE by completing the Summer Housing Cancellation Form found via the GW Summer Housing eServices portal at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇▇. The Licensee agrees to adhere to the following cancellation schedules:
a. A reservation cancellation request received by May 19, 2023 (11:59pm EDT) will be granted a full refund of any monies paid and release from all other financial obligations.
b. A reservation cancellation request received after May 19, 2023, will result in forfeiture of all monies paid and release from further financial obligations.
c. If the Licensee does not arrive within seven (7) days after the scheduled date of arrival and does not contact GW CLRE about a delayed arrival, the reservation will be immediately canceled, the reserved Housing Space will be released, and all previous payments with be forfeited in full.
d. If the Licensee changes the date of arrival, and subsequently cancels the reservation, the Licensee is still bound by the cancellation policy with their original scheduled date of arrival. Failure to notify GW CLRE of their cancellation request shall result in forfeiture of monies paid.
Reservation Cancellations. Linen reservations may be canceled within 7 days of the rental reservation being placed for a full refund as long as the in hand date is at least 30 days away. Any other cancellations are subject to a $25 service fee. No refunds will be given for any reservation canceled 7 days or less prior to the in hand date the linens are to be received.

a. A reservation cancellation request received by May 1, 2016 will be granted a full refund of any monies paid and release from all financial obligations.
b. After May 1, 2016, the $150.00 Administrative Fee will be forfeited for all cancellation requests. In addition:
i. In the event that the Licensee cancels more than thirty (30) calendar days prior to their scheduled date of arrival, the Licensee will be charged a $400.00 Cancellation Fee.
ii. In the event that the Licensee cancels twenty-nine (29) to fifteen (15) calendar days from their scheduled date of arrival, fifty percent (50%) of their contracted housing charges will be forfeited and released from all other financial obligations.
iii. In the event that the Licensee cancels fourteen (14) calendar days or less, prior to their scheduled date of arrival, all payments will be forfeited in full and released from all other financial obligations. If the Licensee does not arrive within seven (7) days after the scheduled date of arrival, the reservation will be cancelled and all previous payments will be forfeited in full. If the Licensee changes the date of arrival, and subsequently cancels the reservation, the Licensee is still bound by the cancellation policy with their original scheduled date of arrival. Failure to notify GW Housing of their cancellation request shall result in forfeiture of all previous payments in full.
