Resident Tribal Members and Tribal Entities Sample Clauses

The "Resident Tribal Members and Tribal Entities" clause defines the rights, responsibilities, or special considerations applicable to individuals who are members of a recognized tribe and reside on tribal lands, as well as to organizations or entities that are owned or operated by the tribe. In practice, this clause may specify eligibility for certain benefits, exemptions from state or local regulations, or unique procedural requirements for transactions involving tribal members or entities. Its core function is to ensure that the legal or contractual framework acknowledges and respects the distinct legal status of tribal members and entities, thereby addressing jurisdictional issues and promoting compliance with tribal sovereignty.
Resident Tribal Members and Tribal Entities. If the Tribe is authorized under this Agreement to use the Tribal Certificate of Exemption and the Tribe authorizes a Resident Tribal Member or Tribal Entity to use such a certificate, the Resident Tribal Member or Tribal Entity shall maintain a copy of all certificates used. For items not covered by the Table, information and documentation must also be retained to substantiate where the transaction took place. This information shall include shipping documents showing the manner and means by which the item was delivered, e.g., common carrier, seller’s truck, purchaser’s truck, postal service, etc.

  • Entities To register an Account or use the Services, you must be an entity duly formed and legally authorized to operate in the jurisdiction of your formation (“Entity”). If you are registering to use the Zero Hash Services on behalf of a legal entity, you represent and warrant that (i) such legal entity is duly organized and validly existing under the Applicable Laws of the jurisdiction of its organization; and (ii) you are duly authorized by such legal entity to act on its behalf. You further represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years if age, (b) have not previously been suspended or removed from using the Zero Hash Services, and (c) have all powers and authority necessary to enter this agreement and in doing so will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party. Zero Hash is not responsible or liable for relying on the representations of your agents, employees, contractors, attorneys, financial advisors, or any other person Zero Hash reasonably believes represents you in the acceptance of this User Agreement or in the acceptance of any other instruction through the Platform or through the Zero Hash System.
