Resignation or Cause Clause Samples
The 'Resignation or Cause' clause defines the circumstances under which an employee may resign or be terminated for cause. Typically, it outlines the procedures and notice requirements for voluntary resignation, as well as the specific actions or behaviors that constitute 'cause' for immediate dismissal, such as misconduct or breach of contract. This clause ensures both parties understand their rights and obligations in situations where employment ends due to resignation or serious employee wrongdoing, thereby providing clarity and reducing the risk of disputes.
