Resilient Flooring Clause Samples
The Resilient Flooring clause defines the requirements and standards for the installation of resilient flooring materials, such as vinyl, linoleum, or rubber tiles, within a construction project. It typically outlines the types of approved materials, preparation of subfloors, installation methods, and quality control measures to ensure durability and appearance. By specifying these details, the clause ensures that the flooring is installed correctly, meets performance expectations, and minimizes future maintenance or repair issues.

Resilient Flooring. This work includes the furnishing and installing of all materials, labor, accessories, and adhesives for vinyl composition tile. Colors shall be selected by the interior designer Estimated useful life: 15 years.
Resilient Flooring. 9.3.1 Floor in the storage, printer/copier, mail room & breakroom areas will be finished with a 1/8" thick commercial quality resilient tile flooring (approximately 2400 sq. ft.).
9.3.2 All areas which are to be finished with resilient tile will be trimmed out and completed with a standard, 4" high, curved or straight vinyl base.
Resilient Flooring. (Soft Tile) The basic tool kit required by Soft Tile Layers receiving the applicable rate of wages shall consist of the following: Putty knives; knives; chalk line; adhesive spreader; tape measure; hammer; square; ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇; extension cord (25'). All power tools shall be supplied by the employer.
Resilient Flooring. FLOOR TILE: As specified by designer from approved building standard tile samples. If other than building standard tile is selected then Building Management must approve choice in writing prior to ordering tile.
Resilient Flooring o Provide VCT in the following areas. VCT to be Arms▇▇▇▇▇ Standard Excelon, 12" x 12" x 1/8" thick; color and layouts with accent insets per final working drawings. [ ] Lunch Room Approx. 700 sf [ ] Coffee Bars Approx. 40 sf
Resilient Flooring. Vinyl composition tile, 12” x 12” ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Standard Excelon Tile or similar, shall be provided in break rooms, kitchens, storage rooms, copy rooms, restrooms, janitor’s closets, and utility rooms. County to be provided with samples to select color within one (1) week of executing County’s Lease.
Resilient Flooring. 1. Possible Deficiency - Nail pops appear on the surface of resilient flooring. Performance Standard - Readily apparent surface nail pops are deficiencies.
Resilient Flooring. 9.3.1 Where scheduled for toilet rooms, break and equipment rooms, floors will receive 1/8" thick commercial grade vinyl composition floor tile.
9.3.2 All areas to be finished receive 4" high vinyl base at walls.
