Common use of Responsibility for Claims Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for Claims. 1. The NGO shall indemnify, hold and save harmless, and defend at its own expense, UNDP, its officials and persons performing services for UNDP, from and against all suits, claims, demands and liability of any nature and kind, including their cost and expenses, arising out of the acts or omissions of the NGO or its employees or persons hired for the management of the present Agreement and the Project.
