Common use of Responsibility for Personal Property Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for Personal Property. Mines shall not be liable for damage to or destruction of any personal property kept on the Premises, unless such loss is caused by its gross negligence. Therefore, the Resident is strongly encouraged to insure their personal belongings with an appropriate insurance policy. Mines has the right to require Residents to clear outside premises of personal belongings. Failure to comply will result in removal of items by Mines.
