Common use of Responsiveness to Community Concerns Clause in Contracts

Responsiveness to Community Concerns. Unless prohibited by applicable State or federal law, Contractor shall notify County within one business day of receipt of any material complaints including but not limited to complaints referring to issues of abuse or quality of care, submitted to Contractor orally or in writing, regarding the operation of Contractor’s program or facility under this Agreement. Contractor shall take appropriate steps to acknowledge receipt of said complaint(s) from individuals or organizations. Contractor shall take appropriate steps to utilize appropriate forums to address or resolve any such complaints received. Nothing in this provision shall be interpreted to preclude Contractor from engaging in any legally authorized use of its facility, property or business as approved, permitted or licensed by the applicable authority.
