Common use of Restricted Academic License Clause in Contracts

Restricted Academic License. This License Option gives YOU the right to use the Software for (and restricts YOUR use to) academic instruction and teaching only. Under this License Option, use of the Software for research or commercial use is strictly prohibited. Under this License Option, YOU are prohibited from granting Students Remote Access to the Software or installing the Software on a Student machine (whether owned by YOU or the Student) unless a separate license has been granted to YOU by Maplesoft in writing. This License Option may be granted as a Term License or as a Perpetual License. This License Option may include certain rights under the Home Use License Option as specified in YOUR Order Confirmation.
