Restriction of the access of vulnerable persons to gambling. The Player can provide self-restriction declarations for one or more gambling types and organisers. 26.3.1 significant self-restriction declaration The significant self-restriction declaration shall be drawn up in writing, and it shall be submitted to the Hungarian Gambling Supervisory Authority personally, at the selected customer service offices of the authority, or in a private document with full probative force via postal mail. In the significant self-restriction declaration, gambling types can be indicated based on the following division: • card games organised in card rooms, • gaming casino, • online casino, • remote gambling. In the significant self-restriction declaration, only organisers provided with the operating licence of the Hungarian Gambling Supervisory Authority can be designated. Validity period of the significant self-restriction declaration: 1, 3 or 5 years. The declaration with a term not exceeding 1 year cannot be revoked. The declaration with a term exceeding 1 year can be revoked (after the expiry of at least 2 years) personally, through a written declaration provided at the selected customer service office of the Hungarian Gambling Supervisory Authority, with the simultaneous verification of identity. The organiser of the online casino shall - simultaneously with the client identification - pursuant to the act on the prevention and combating of money laundering and terrorist financing, before registering the Player, control whether the Player is under the effect of any restriction (considering the type of gambling and the organiser), based on the data of the player protection register. In case the Player is under restriction based on the data of the player protection register - considering the organiser or the type of gambling -, the organiser shall not continue the Player’s identification and shall deny registration. The organiser shall inform the player about denying registration based on the player protection register in writing, using a simple copy of the electronic certificate. The Organiser shall also carry out the evaluation at each future instance of logging in online by the Player.
