Restrictions on the Source of the Local Share. The Recipient agrees to provide sufficient funds or approved in-kind resources, together with the Federal assistance awarded, that will assure payment of the actual cost of each Project activity covered by the Grant Agreement or Cooperative Agreement for the Project. The Recipient agrees that no local share funds provided will be derived from receipts from the use of Project facilities or equipment, revenues of the public transportation system in which such facilities or equipment are used, or other Federal funds, except as permitted by Federal law or regulation, or if FTA determines otherwise in writing.
