Results of Test. A. If the results of the initial test are positive, the Employer will submit the sample for a confirmation test using a GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) test or other method specified by DHHS Guidelines to verify the initial test results that will be conducted by an outside licensed laboratory capable of supplying an analysis of drug content. When a confirmation test is necessary, the Employer will ensure the proper storage and transportation of the specimen to a licensed laboratory for processing.
