Common use of Retainer Fee Clause in Contracts

Retainer Fee. The Client will pay Broker a non-refundable Retainer Fee of $ , due and payable upon execution of this agreement. The Retainer Fee shall be applied against the total commission due and is intended as compensation to the Broker for the Broker's effort in locating property for the Client.
