Common use of Retainer Fee Clause in Contracts

Retainer Fee. During the Consulting Term, the Consultant shall be entitled to receive a monthly retainer fee of $40,500.00 (the “Retainer”) (subject to proration for any partial month) which retainer fee shall be payable beginning July 31, 2021 and the last day of the month for the following five months. Consultant acknowledges that he will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC from the Company, and that he shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, as set out in paragraph (iv) below.
