Common use of Retention of Pre-payment Clause in Contracts

Retention of Pre-payment. If: • the refund requests referred to in clauses 5.4.1 or 5.4.2 above are not received or received after the stated deadline or • you do not arrive to take up the Accommodation on time per clause 7.2 then the prepayment will be retained by us as a reasonable pre-estimate of the administration expenses incurred by us in dealing with this development, the work involved in the reallocation of the Accommodation (if possible) or if not, any loss in Halls Fee income.
