Common use of Retention of Rights Clause in Contracts

Retention of Rights. Except in respect of the indemnities granted pursuant to Clause 19 (Indemnities), unless otherwise specifically stated, both the Corporation and the Contractor shall retain all rights and remedies, both under the Contract and at law, which either may have against the other. The Contractor shall not be relieved from any liability or obligation under the Contract by any review, approval, authorisation, acknowledgement, issue of completion certificate or the like, by the Corporation.
