Common use of RETIREE BENEFITS - EARLY RETIREE HEALTH AND DENTAL PLAN Clause in Contracts

RETIREE BENEFITS - EARLY RETIREE HEALTH AND DENTAL PLAN. Employees with a minimum of ten (10) years continuous service who retire from the Corporation and receive their OMERS pension and who are not eligible for benefits from another employer shall be eligible to receive the early retiree health and dental benefits listed below. Such benefits will be in effect until the retiree reaches sixty-five (65) years of age. In the event that a retiree in receipt of health and dental benefits passes away, the retiree’s surviving spouse will be eligible to continue to receive the retiree’s benefits until the earlier of the date the retiree would have reached sixty-five (65) or the surviving spouse reaches sixty-five (65).
