RETURN TO WORK COMPENSATION. Section 1: Purpose Return-to-work compensation is designed to compensate regular employees for being available to return to work with limited notice and for hours not previously regularly scheduled. There are three (3) types of return-to-work compensation covered by this Article: on-call, standby, and call-back. Assignment and approval of return to work compensation shall be made by the Fire Chief or designee based upon the needs of the service.
