Common use of Review by Compensation Committee or committee Clause in Contracts

Review by Compensation Committee or committee. If the Compensation Committee (or a committee if a one has been appointed) has regularly scheduled meetings at least quarterly, the rules in this subsection govern the time for the decision on review and supersede the rules described above. If the claimant’s written request for review is received more than 30 days before a meeting, a decision on review must be made at the next meeting after the request for review has been received. If the claimant’s written request for review is received 30 days or less before a meeting of the Compensation Committee (or committee), the decision on review must be made at the Compensation Committee’s (or committee’s) second meeting after the request for review has been received. If an extension of time is required, written notice of the extension must be furnished to the claimant before the extension begins.
