Common use of Revision to Approved Construction Schedule Clause in Contracts

Revision to Approved Construction Schedule. In the event that the progress of the Work or the sequencing of the activities of the Work shall materially differ from that indicated in the approved construction schedule, as determined by the DISTRICT in its reasonable discretion and judgment, the DISTRICT may direct the CONTRACTOR to revise the approved construction schedule; within fifteen (15) days of the DISTRICT's direction, the CONTRACTOR shall prepare and submit a revised approved construction schedule, for review and approval by the DISTRICT. The CONTRACTOR may request consent of the DISTRICT to revise the approved construction schedule. Any such request shall be considered by the DISTRICT only if in writing setting forth the CONTRACTOR's proposed revision(s) to the approved construction schedule and the reason(s) therefor. The DISTRICT may consent to, or deny, any such request of the CONTRACTOR to revise the approved construction schedule in its reasonable discretion.
