Common use of Right of Suspension Clause in Contracts

Right of Suspension. The Owner may, without cause, order the Contractor in writing to suspend, delay or interrupt the Work, in whole or in part, for such period of time as determined by the Owner. An adjustment shall be made for the increase in the cost of performing the Contract (excluding therefrom any profit to the Contractor), on the increased cost of performance caused by the suspension, delay, or interruption.
