Common use of Right to Know Clause in Contracts

Right to Know. Recently passed "Right to Know" legislation required the Department of Labor and Industries to establish a program to make employers and employees more aware of the hazardous substances in their work environment. WAC 000-00-000 requires among other things that all manufacturers or distributors of hazardous substances, including any of the items listed on this bid/quote/contract bid and subsequent award must include with each delivery a completed Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each hazardous material.
