1. The City shall assign a police officer to Talent Middle School, located at 000 Xxxxxxxxx Xxx, Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx.
2. The City shall assign the supervision of the SRO to the Chief of Police, or his designee, who shall perform scheduled and non-scheduled visits to the school for the purpose of evaluating the performance of the SRO.
3. Regular Duty Hours of the SRO shall be as follows:
a. The SRO shall be assigned to the school for up to 30 hours per week during the hours that the school is in regular session. The SRO may also be responsible for law enforcement coverage at after-school activities such as football games, basketball games, dances, and other similar events. The SRO’s schedule will be at the discretion of the City, in consultation with the District.
b. The SRO will make every effort to schedule time off periods when school is not in session. The District will be notified if the SRO will be absent for any reason during his/her regularly scheduled hours.
4. Duties, Obligations and Procedures of the SRO: The SRO shall/will:
a. Wear the established patrol uniform unless another form of dress is approved by his/her supervisor.
b. Make classroom presentations when reasonably requested by a teacher on such topics as the role of policing in the community, search and seizure, laws of arrest, traffic laws, crime prevention, victim's rights, community involvement, drug and alcohol issues, youth programs, and the like.
c. Participate in discussions during class to establish rapport with students.
d. Take appropriate law enforcement action in and around the school as required by law and consistent with the policies and procedures of the police department and District. Appropriate law enforcement action includes all those duties normally performed by a police officer, such as issuing traffic citations; investigating crimes and motor vehicle accidents; conducting interviews of suspects, victims and witnesses; collecting evidence; making arrests; and writing reports.

1. The City shall assign one regularly employed police officer to Phoenix High School located at 000 X. Xxxx Street, Phoenix, Oregon.
2. The City shall assign the duties and supervision of the SRO to the Chief of Police, or his designee, who shall perform scheduled and non-scheduled visits to the school for the purpose of evaluating the performance of the SRO.
3. Regular Duty Hours of the SRO shall be as follows:
a. The SRO shall be assigned to the school on a full-time eight- (8) hour basis on those days and during those hours that the school is in regular session. The SRO shall further be responsible for law enforcement coverage at after-school activities such as football games, basketball games, dances, etc. The SRO will assist in coordinating the activities and assignments of other law enforcement personnel (reserve police officers) at these activities.
b. When school is closed due to in-service training, the SRO will perform patrol functions, unless otherwise specified by the Police Chief or designee.
c. During extended non-school periods, the SRO will be assigned to other non-school law enforcement duties as needed by the Chief of Police or designee.
d. The SRO will make every effort to schedule time off for vacations and floating holidays during periods when school is not in session.
e. The District will be consulted regarding any requests by the SRO for time off during periods that school is in session. Requests shall be submitted in a timely manner unless the request is an emergency such as illness of the SRO or a family member, injury or death. The SRO also must notify District of the SRO's absence in emergency situations.
f. The SRO may be temporarily reassigned by the City during a law enforcement emergency or to participate in mandatory police training necessary to maintain the officer's proficiency as required by the Oregon Department of Public Safety and Standards (DPSST).
4. Duties, Obligations and Procedures of the SRO The SRO shall/will:
a. Wear the established patrol uniform unless special circumstances require another form of dress as approved by District supervisor.
b. Make classroom presentations when requested by a teacher on such topics as the role of policing in the community, search and seizure, laws of arrest, traffic laws, crime prevention, victim's rights, community involvement, drug and alcohol issues, youth programs and the like.

Rights and Duties of the City. The City shall provide School Resource Officers, who shall be regularly employed Police Officers as “SROs”.
A. The number of “SROs” assigned shall be determined by the City, in consultation with the Superintendent of the School District or their designee, currently five (5), to provide services at the following School District schools: Caldwell High School Canyon Springs High School Jefferson Middle School Syringa Middle School Washington Elementary School Van Buren Elementary School Lincoln Elementary School Xxxxx & Xxxxx Elementary School Sacajawea Elementary School Xxxxxx Elementary School
B. The assignment of duties and locations of “SROs” shall be determined by the City, in consultation with the Superintendent of the School District or their designee.
Rights and Duties of the City. The City, its employees, officers, agents and contractors shall be permitted to utilize the Property for the Term of this Agreement for the purpose of viewing fireworks for the 2020 July 4th Celebration. The City shall:
(a) Have a right to ingress and egress the Property and use of the Property under the terms of this Agreement subject to the reasonable rules and regulations established by Capital Metro;
(b) Not discriminate against any person based on race, religion, creed, national origin, sex, disability or any other legally protected classification;
(c) Not convey, assign or otherwise subcontract this Agreement to any other person or entity without the express, written consent of Capital Metro;
(d) Not permit, suffer or allow any activities of the City to interfere with any other facilities or activities on the Property;
(e) Maintain risk pool insurance in the amount of $3,000,000.00 for each occurrence and require the pyrotechnic contractor to provide excess umbrella coverage in the amount of $5,000,000.00 to cover any incidents, injuries or occurrence related to the City’s use of the Property, and provide Capital Metro with copies of certificates of insurance demonstrating compliance with this subsection prior to the date of the event;
(f) Pay the fees associated with this Agreement timely as provided in Section 5;
(g) Not permit any construction or alteration of any buildings or facilities which has not been expressly approved by Capital Metro;
(h) Provide safety, security, pedestrian and traffic control as agreed and described in Exhibits B-1 and B.-2 that is hereby attached and made a part of this Agreement (“Site Safety, Security & Logistics Plan”); and
(i) Provide fire and EMS protection and personnel as agreed and described in Exhibit A.
(j) Comply with all applicable federal, state and local ordinances.

B. In its sole discretion, replace depreciated concession equipment that is no longer usable.
C. Have the right to inspect the stand at any reasonable time during the term of the Agreement.
D. Have the right to screen concessionaire and any concessionaire staff for felony convictions by the City of Camden Police Department.

(a) Have the right to mow and clear the area to be used prior to the event
(b) Have a right to ingress and egress from the Property and use of the Property under the terms of this Agreement subject to the reasonable rules and regulations established by the Owner.
(c) Not discriminate against any person based on race, religion, creed, national origin, sex, disability or any other legally protected classification.
(d) Not convey, assign or otherwise subcontract this Agreement to any other person or entity without the express, written agreement of the Owner.
(e) Not permit, suffer or allow any activities of the City to interfere with any other facilities or activities on the Property.
(f) Maintain risk pool insurance in the amount of $3,000,000 for each occurrence, to cover any incidents, injuries or occurrence related to the City's use of the Property, and provide the Owner with copies of certificates of insurance demonstrating compliance with this subsection prior to the date of the event. Such insurance coverage shall name Owner. The City waives all rights against Owner for damages caused by any peril to the extent covered by insurance provided under the insurance requirements of this Agreement City will require each vendor to maintain commercially reasonable insurance, including automobile liability and general liability insurance with appropriate coverage for the vendor’s activities, naming the City and Owner as additional insureds, and with waiver of subrogation endorsements in favor of the City and Transit Village Investments LTD, to the extent available.
(g) Pay the fees associated with this use permit timely as provided in Section 5.
(h) Not permit any construction or alteration of any buildings or facilities which has not been expressly approved by the Owner.
(i) Provide portable restroom facilities and hand washing stations for the duration of the event, which facilities shall be removed prior to the end of the Term.
(j) Provide fire and EMS personnel during the event.
(k) Provide all labor, equipment and materials to set-up, hold, breakdown and clean-up. The breakdown and clean-up shall begin immediately after the end of the event and shall be completed no later than July 6, 2020.

1. As the Boarding Home Facility Permit Administrator, the Director shall supervise, control, and operate the Permit Office and issue City permits for the residential conversion of the Boarding Home Facilities within the City limits on behalf of the County as set out in Section 2.1 of the Regulations and Section 22-198 of the Ordinance. The Parties agree that the City will not prosecute any violations other than civil or greater than a class C misdemeanor of the Regulations or Ordinance. The Director, in consultation with the Sheriff, shall promulgate requirements for issuing a County permit for Boarding Home Facilities within City Limits based on the Regulations and City ordinances.
