Common use of Rights and Obligations Not Conferred By this License Agreement Clause in Contracts

Rights and Obligations Not Conferred By this License Agreement. Nothing contained in this License Agreement shall be construed: (a) as imposing on either party any obligation to instigate any action for infringement of any Licensed Patents, or to defend any action brought by a third party which challenges or relates to the validity of any of these intellectual property rights; (b) as imposing any obligation to file any patent, trademark or copyright applications, to secure any patent, trademark or copyright registrations, or to maintain any subsisting patent, trademark or copyright registrations; or (c) as conferring any license to manufacture, sell or otherwise dispose of any product or device, or as transferring any title to any product or device.
