Common use of Risk of Loss Borne by Lessee Clause in Contracts

Risk of Loss Borne by Lessee. Upon delivery of each Vehicle to the Lessee, as between the Lessor and the Lessee, the Lessee assumes and bears the risk of loss, damage, theft, taking, destruction, attachment, seizure, confiscation or requisition with respect to such Vehicle, however caused or occasioned, and all other risks and liabilities, including personal injury or death and property damage, arising with respect to such Vehicle or the manufacture, purchase, acceptance, rejection, ownership, delivery, leasing, subleasing, possession, use, inspection, registration, operation, condition, maintenance, repair, storage, sale, return or other disposition of such Vehicle, howsoever arising.
