Risks Associated with Securities Trading. (a) Price fluctuation The prices of securities (including but not limited to bonds or benefits of unit trust funds, mutual funds, or other collective investment schemes) fluctuate, sometimes dramatically. The price of a security may move up or down, and may fall against your interest and under some circumstances even become valueless. It is as likely that losses will be incurred, rather than profit made, as a result of buying and selling securities.
