Common use of Road traffic legislation Clause in Contracts

Road traffic legislation. liability for bodily injury sustained by an employee when the employee is a) being carried in or upon a vehicle; or b) entering or getting onto or alighting from a vehicle in circumstances where insurance or security is required to be effected by the insured to comply with the Road Traffic Act 1988 as amended by The Motor Vehicles (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1992 or any alteration to such regulations or any similar legislation applying to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands or to any other territory consequent on the Third Council Directive 90/232/EEC of 14/05/1990 relating to insurance against civil liability in respect of the use of motor vehicles or in circumstances where such insurance or security would have been required but for the insured being exempted from such requirements under the terms of the legislation.
