Robbery or extortion Clause Samples

The 'Robbery or extortion' clause defines how losses or damages resulting from acts of robbery or extortion are addressed within the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines whether such incidents are covered under the contract, specifies any conditions or exclusions, and may detail the responsibilities of each party in the event of a loss due to these criminal acts. For example, it might clarify if insurance is required or if liability is limited in cases of theft by force or threats. The core function of this clause is to allocate risk and clarify liability between the parties in situations involving robbery or extortion, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring both parties understand their obligations and protections.
